The impact of Age Regulations on pension schemes – updated information
The Department for Work and Pensions and DTI (now BERR) have published new guidance on Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 and their impact on occupational and personal pension schemes.
The guide will be of relevance to employers and trustees or managers of pension schemes, as well as to members and prospective members of schemes.
It explains the main features of age regulations in relation to pensions, making use of exemptions, actions to be taken, and is supported by case studies and answers to key questions.
